Video: 3D popping up in more than just movies
The ABC affiliate in San Francisco reports on a 3D phenomenon happening in movies, TVs, video games, laptops, point-and-shooters and digital frames. Reporter Michael Finney introduces Consumer Reports' findings on comparison of 3D TVs in the 2'26" segment. He quotes a tester: "So far, we're finding that plasma is a better technology for 3D and when it comes to screen size, bigger is definitely better for 3D's immersive experience." Finney concludes: "If you're looking to buy a high-end TV right now, go ahead and get one that's 3-D. Top-rated are the Panasonic VT-20 and VT-25 series, which start at about $2,500."
