Panasonic plans Serbian production of plastic parts for air conditioners in cars for export to Germany and other EU countries

Panasonic will build a new factory in Svilajnac to produce plastic parts for air conditioners in cars for export to Germany and other EU countries, Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic said.  For the time being, Panasonic will rent some of the halls from Reum GmbH, who is already producing the plastic components there.  Panasonic will start production on 15 October, and construct a facility of its own afterwards, he said.  The Minister hopes other companies in the electronics sector will follow suit.
