About Panasonic Middle East

Panasonic Marketing Middle East FZE (PMM) and Panasonic Gulf FZE (PGF) are both subsidiary companies in the Middle East belonging to the Japan-based Panasonic Corporation. Panasonic Corporation, as of 1 Sept 09, is ranked 79 in the Forbes Fortune 500 companies and is a respected company in Japan and around the globe.

PMM is the Regional Marketing Headquarters of Panasonic Corporation in the Middle East & African countries. PMM was established on 1 April 2001 and handles the Marketing functions under the brand name Panasonic. The beginning of PGF dates back to 8 January 1996. It was the first among the subsidiary companies of Panasonic Corporation in the Middle East with its major focus on sales activities. PGF and PMM share the same premises, enjoy the same privileges and are aligned with the same vision and direction. However, each exists as a separate entity due to business and legal reasons. As of September 1 2009, the headcount at the Panasonic Middle East/Africa region was 238 staff with a wide diversity of culture and experience from 19 countries.

PMM office is strategically located in the UAE within the Jebel Ali Free Zone of Dubai, as a "Free Zone Establishment" (FZE). The Jebel Ali free zone ranks among the world’s largest and the fastest growing free zones. It enjoys all the benefits and privileges provided by the Free Zone Authority to companies in the Free Zone. PMM acts as a hub for the Middle East and Africa regions. Besides Sales and Marketing functions, PMM is responsible for the enhancement and development of the corporate brand image and presence of Panasonic in the Middle East and Africa region. Advertising, Branding activities as well as extensive Customer Service (CS) are also among the key primary functions at PMM.

While our goals and objectives always remain centered and aligned with global Panasonic, our own vision at PMM is to be the No 1 Customer-centric Company and No 1 Customer-preferred brand in the Middle East/Africa region.
