iA mode is all you need for beautiful photos and movies

Simply set the FT2 to iA mode and aim it at your subject. The camera will detect the scene and automatically correct blurring, Focussing and brightness problems. The double corrective capability of POWER O.I.S. also works in water, making it easy to capture blur-free underwater shots.

28mm wide-angle* LEICA DC VARIO ELMAR lens with 4.6x optical zoom and 6x Intelligent Zoom

The 4.6x optical zoom covers the entire shooting range from 28mm wide angle to 129mm telephoto. Intelligent Zoom uses Intelligent Resolution Technology to boost the power to 6x zoom. Unlike conventional digital zooms, there is minimal image degradation with the 6x zoom. This lens makes it easy to capture all kinds of images, such as underwater shots where the angle of view naturally narrows, and shots in which you want to fill the frame with your subject.
